Welcome to Religious Education
We believe
that
continuous
Religious Education is essential to the growth of any Catholic
sincere in their faith development. We offer classes from preschool through
high school and quarterly sessions for parents and parishioners to hear guest
speakers on various topics.
Our program for 4
year olds is on Sunday mornings. All other ages and classes are on Sundays,
Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. You are most welcome to visit any classroom. Our
volunteer teachers are parents such as yourselves, who find sharing one hour a
week with a child brings such joy.
Our goal is to teach
the faith through information (church rules, commandments, works of mercy,
etc.), as well as formation (experiencing scripture through discussion, music,
role playing, crafts, etc.), which leads to transformation of the soul (to know
about God and to know God in a personal relationship, etc.).
